Fitzpatrick Lab

Clara Tepohl started her PhD in the Fitzpatrick Lab in August 2018. Using optical techniques her research focuses on the synaptic basis of binocular convergence and its development in the ferret visual cortex.

Outside of research, Clara’s activities include:

2019/20: External PhD student representative of MPFI for the Max Planck Society PhDnet

2019/20: NWiS (Network for Women in Science) MPFI Head of Event Committee

Since 2018: IMPRS Brain and Behavior (Doctoral program), Student representative

2016/17: IMPRS Neuroscience (Master’s program), Vice student representative

Clara is also engaged in many outreach events and enjoy volunteering and telling children and adults about science and in particular the brain.
